Relevant Experience

A lawyer from Universidad de Chile and a Master in Tax Law from the same university, Barbara Neyra joined the Tax Department of Aninat Schwencke & Cia in March 2018. Previously, Mrs. Neyra worked as a senior attorney in Recabarren & Asociados, was the Corporate Controller of Grupo Tricot and Tax Manager of the Tax Department of Ernest & Young Chile.

Recent Significant Representations
  • Advise to Red Eléctrica España in the purchase of companies in Chile for US$117.000.000.
  • Advise to a relevant fruit exporter in its reorganization and investment planning.
  • Advise to an insurance car company in the increase of the company´s equity, through incorporation of third parties investors.
  • Advise to a biotechnology company in relation to an increase in the company´s equity, through incorporation of third parties investors.
  • Advise to a relevant advertising company in the implementation of a regional publicity services agreement.
  • Permanent advice in operations and financial matters to one of the most important retail companies in the country.
  • Advise to one of the most relevant cemetery chains in the country in it assets reorganization.
  • Advise to a technology company in an audit carried out by the Chilean Tax Authority.
